The Waew Food Program is an exploration of Thai cuisine and politics as a personal and practical research on how to stay in the Netherland.
We started a collaboration between Wall Street, a place for alternative economic studies, and Waew, a 33 years old artist from Thailand.

During 2 months, every Wednesday we cooked Thai food and organized dinner.By running this project we could understand if people would welcome Waew and if she would see herself living in another country.
On the other hand we investigated on new ways to get a visa or how to become economically attractive for a country.

Through those dinner we explored different themes in order to give an insight of the Thai culture. We questioned politics, sexuality, blending cultures and created a new way to protest and spread an propose an economical model more based on subtile values and less based on only money.
